Edward Jones is looking for a leader to help support innovation and growth within the Application Frameworks and API Platform team. The Department Leader plans, directs, and manages a team of associates and contractors who are responsible for the API practice, tools and frameworks. These responsibilities include setting up API practice, Operation, Regulatory Compliance, Support, Development, Security, Quality, Disaster Recovery and Implementation of the API frameworks and Practice.

Technical Skills Required:
* Understanding of agile software development methodologies and processes within IS (change management, QA, Project Life Cycle, etc.)
* Required understanding of setting up Enterprise Level API Practice.
* Knowledge of API Platform, API Technologies.
* Knowledge of on-boarding applications into API Platform.
* Required understanding of DevOps technologies related to or dependent on the team's systems.
* Knowledge of Configuration Management platforms and Cloud Technologies.
* Knowledge of developer tools and their interactions, infrastructure dependencies, system controls, monitoring, etc.


* Bachelor's degree preferred or related work experience.
* Completion of SIE exam within 18 months of hire is required.
* 10+ years of experience directly related to Information Systems technology with at least 5 years of Team Leader (or equivalent) responsibilities preferred.
* Understanding of the departments systems, processes and technologies
