Are you a strategic, innovative Director of Facilities ready to help clients optimize their business!

 

We are looking for a Facilities Director with a strong manufacturing background to lead a team of over 125 FTEs and 5 Salary Managers in our Flagship location located in Inwood, WV. This Director of Facilities will have technical knowledge of hard services (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Manufacturing Equipment, Building Maintenance, etc.) in a manufacturing environment. A combined total of 20 million square feet oversight, that also includes oversight of the following line of services such as, Security, Culinary, Hard and Soft services.  This position requires a strategic leader, knowledge of GMP (Good manufacturing practices), experience in multi-site and state oversight and capable of managing complex projects and the ability to successfully integrate services within the requirements of the current MSA agreement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong operational leadership of multiple services who serve as the main point of contact for client communication and field all client requests through direct reports
  • Drives strong safety culture with direct rooms and front line employees by enforcing safety policies, conducting safety tours, fresh eyes safety reviews, and conducting coaching / counseling as needed.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional Soft/Hard FM services and solutions including building audits and tours to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Through operational excellence, provide continued innovation and value add services
  • Develops exceptional client relations and ability to grow services
  • Build and foster relationships across Sodexo internally to ensure additional market growth & promotion of comprehensive solutions to the client.
  • Collaborate with the management team in providing strategic direction and growth
  • Ensure the organizations core values are modeled & driven throughout the operation
  • Find and scope projects to reduce cost savings at the site and throughout the geographical area.

Must be available 24/7 to respond to building emergencies or to respond to work being performed by contractors after hours.

 

Our ideal candidate MUST have Strong Financial Acumen to management a Multi-Million-dollar portfolio and manufacturing experience with previous IFM service provider experience preferred.

Position Summary

The Director of Facilities Operations  is responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at a single unit. The Director of Facilities Operations manages the  preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades, e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, utilities; and manages the hiring, training and supervision of staff, professionals and management.  The Director of Facilities Operations manages a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business.  The Director may oversee  construction work and often manages other core Sodexo services, and/or  logistics of business/operations services, e.g., grounds keeping, laundry, food, security, inventory, mail, concierge services.

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience- 5 years

Basic Functional Experience- 5 years
