Sodexo, world leader in quality of life services, has a new opening for a Director, Demand Generation & Digital Marketing. This is a virtual role and candidates in the Dallas, TX area are preferred, however highly qualified candidates outside of the Dallas area are also encouraged to apply.


The successful candidate will:

  • develop, manage and lead Sodexo's ABM strategy to drive MQL within our target accounts;
  • lead a marketing team and work with internal team members and Vice President in all matters relating to marketing, to help establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship; 
  • be responsible for successfully coordinating and directing demand generation and digital marketing activities across all segments throughout the enterprise;

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the creation and on-going implementation of a fully integrated digital marketing strategy that supports the Marketing & Sales organizations of all segments in North America and share best practices with  other regional MSDC throughout the Sodexo Group


  • Promote Sodexos overall brand image, drive business growth and sales enablement, by developing and managing a strategy for an integrated Digital Marketing technology stack.  This will include integrated content marketing campaigns and ongoing innovation of Sodexos digital presence.
  • Partner with global colleagues to speak with one voice on behalf of Sodexo. Advice segments and transversal functions on the creation of new content, including use of video and multimedia, to promote lead generation, keep audiences engaged and attract new followers.
  • Develop, manage, and lead ABM (Account Based Marketing) strategy for Sodexo that drives MQLs within our target accounts.
  • Develop a measurable content marketing strategy designed for lead generation.  This encompasses a focused thought leadership strategy that maps back to the brand narrative and ultimately drives business thru ABM campaigns.
  • Lead the implementation of the integrated digital marketing technology stack across the region, engaging with all business segments to develop shared and customized content for their target customers.  Partner with IT, operations, marketing, sales, Creative Center and PR colleagues to deploy campaigns that yield optimum sales pipeline formation and share of voice in the market, targeting appropriate customer segments.


Primary duties & responsibilities include:

  • Marketing Strategy Develop digital campaign strategies in conjunction with segment/industry marketing leads focused on developing MQLs within our target accounts.  The strategy must focus on ABM and consist of awareness, consideration, and conversion across all digital channels and medias.  The strategy must be based on proven methods with success measurements that drive sales growth.  ABM tactics that support sales & marketing account plans that not only support new business growth but cross sell and upsell efforts as well.
  • Content Marketing   Define and develop content marketing playbook for segment/industry focused marketers to support ABM based marketing campaigns/programs.  In addition to the content were looking for ABM playbook to support new business growth.  Digital content consisting of valuable gated content including conversion optimizing landing/conversion pages and the science to back it up. Ensure 100% compliance with all county, state, and local regulations.  Scale platform in accordance with established integration and master data management plan including CRM and Content Management applications
  • Website & Engagement technology -  Develop and support a website strategy that supports our targeted audiences (Recruitment, Employees, Prospects, and Customers) that drives best in class experiences and best in class engagement & rankings.  Technology consists of CRM, Web Platform, Social engagement, Bots, Content, and conversion focused efforts that results in new business growth.  This role focuses primarily on Prospects and Customers with a purpose to drive sales growth thru MQLs that convert to SALs & SAOs, with future state including eCommerce sales.  
  • SEO & SEA Organic & paid search strategies & models that drives traffic and insures Sodexo is ranked best in class, supports ABM campaigns which result in MQLs in our target account base.  This role must have extensive experience driving traffic that converts, and has either led teams or worked in conjunction with SEM teams.   
  • Data, Science, Measurement Contact data strategy to support ABM, campaign performance dashboards and review, and use the data/learnings/trends to continuously improve campaigns/programs/content/strategies that optimize results/conversion.  Technologies consist of CRM, Data Warehouse, Business Analytics Reporting & data analysts. Measuring and improving results across aspects of digital marketing including assets, content, website, digital engagement etc.
  • Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Basic Management Experience - 7 years

    Basic Functional Experience - 7 years
