The Director of Health & Wellness Benefits will focus on the design and strategy of U.S. employee health and insurance programs and will report to the Senior Director, Global Health & Wellness. The ideal candidate has experience in managing benefit and/or total reward programs and vendors, as well as collaborating across a large multidivisional organization. As the H&W Benefits Director, you will be responsible for leading strategic relationships and initiatives in addition to analyzing long-term impact of cost and quality trends and identifying opportunities in design and execution for health & wellness benefits programs. You will also work closely with core services team to ensure programs are being executed as designed and for monitoring ongoing plan performance, including operational and financial reviews. Responsibilities Develop strategies to manage plan costs, improve health of population, provide competitive benefits and comply with health care reform regulations Collaborate with Benefits Controller to develop and monitor Annual Operating Plan for PepsiCo U.S. Group Insurance budget In partnership with the Senior Director, provide guidance and direction to external vendors including consultants, insurance carriers, and other program providers to manage vendor performance, align on strategic priorities, and measure clinical and financial outcomes in line with stated strategies and objectives Monitor, scorecard and identify drivers of medical trend to identify opportunities price, utilization and care management opportunities across the H&W ecosystem Partner with internal and external stakeholders (benefits, HR, HR Operations, multiple vendors, etc.) as appropriate Support the development and monitoring of U.S. group insurance plan expense, compliance and governance processes Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree 10+ years in Benefits execution, strategy & design Strong working knowledge of self-insured employee benefit programs Preferred Qualifications: MBA preferred Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills; must be able to prioritize, multitask and manage project deadlines Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex data Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills Ability to work as a team player and influence cross divisional teams Must be willing and able to travel 5-15% of the time Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $160,000 and $180,000 based on a full-time schedule Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 25% paid out annually An additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
