POSITION SUMMARY
- The Director will be responsible for the coordination and service as a liaison with appropriate management, personnel and affiliate departments and committees, the development of policies and guidelines for home health clinical personnel, and providing professional input to related administrative systems. He/she will direct and supervise professional and auxiliary personnel rendering patient care services, performing marketing duties and communicating the concept of quality client care to the general community. The Director will have primary responsibility for leadership and supervision to ensure that key bench mark indicators are met and will be responsible for compliance with meeting any applicable laws, regulations and requirements of North Dakota affecting the Home Health/Hospice program, Medicare regulations and JC standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
- Educational Requirements
  - RN program as evidenced by licensure.
  - BSN preferred.
- Experience Requirements
  - Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Medicare certified Home Health environment with progressively more responsibility preferred.
  - Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - Must have clinical and managerial experience.
