**What You Will Achieve**

You will ensure impact of the Technology Centers to deliver the KSQ portfolio and work to enhance Pfizer's external scientific and community reputation through outreach programs. As a member of the site leadership team, you will be a key contributor to the implementation of KSQ's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programming. In partnership with Site Leadership and KSQ Communications, you will demonstrate our commitment to scientific excellence and innovation, to our internal and external stakeholders.

**How You Will Achieve It**

**As Lead for KSQ Technology Platforms**

+ Matrix leader for the Site Technology Centers (TCs) responsible to ensure delivery of the vision and drive impact to the KSQ portfolio from the technology centers established for Flow Cytometry, Cellular and Content Imaging, Proteomics and Next Generation Sequencing

+ Partner with TC and Research Unit leadership to support project prioritization processes

+ In partnership with Site Leadership, offer options and recommendations for evolution of the Technology Centers to meet needs of the portfolio. This would include assessment of technologies across the Research Units and make recommendations based on improving portfolio impact, or driving efficiency, capital deployment or resource utilization.

+ Strategic financial tracking and deployment of the site Technology Center capital and operating budgets to maximize value of the investment and impact to the portfolio

**Lead for KSQ STEM Outreach & Celebrating Scientific Excellence at KSQ**

+ Partner with the KSQ Community, academic and other industry groups to create innovative STEM career education programming to inspire students and early career scientists

+ Represent Pfizer at local business and community associations (e.g. Mass Life Sciences, MassBio, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, Boston Public Health commission)

+ Represent KSQ site and our portfolio speaking to internal senior leaders and external stakeholders

+ Develop program assessment tools that will measure Pfizer impact on the community, and increased colleague interaction with the Cambridge ecosystem.

**KSQ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Sponsor**

+ In partnership with Site Affairs lead and site leadership develop programming to support engagement and education of our Pfizer KSQ community regarding the importance of equity and inclusion

+ Serve as the site point of contact for the WRDM R&D Rotational Program, with up to 8 direct reports

+ Represent KSQ on the Rotational PMO organizing committee and on the Worldwide Research Development and Medical (WRDM) Rise Up for Equity Committee


Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

+ MS in a related science discipline required. PhD in a related science discipline preferred.

+ Minimum of 8 years of work experience in drug discovery

+ Demonstrated experience in creating and supporting external partnerships, academic and/or business alliances

+ Demonstrated experience successfully working in matrix environment is required

+ Experience supervising a small team

+ Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills


Travel in the Cambridge/Boston area is expected. Minimal travel outside Cambridge/Boston.
