The mission of the ANA (Association of National Advertisers) is to drive growth for marketing professionals, brands and businesses, the industry, and humanity. Position Summary

The ANA has an extraordinary opportunity for a seasoned advertising/marketing professional to join our content team and further advance and elevate our various multicultural marketing and diversity initiatives, as well as other important work. This position will be responsible for delighting ANA members we call that "member obsessions" while also playing an external role as an industry leader.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibility for managing multicultural marketing and diversity initiatives:

In addition, this role would manage:

  • ANA Sponsorship & Experiential Marketing Committee (6 meetings per year)
  • ANA Virtual Half Day Conferences (approx. 4 meetings a year)

More specific responsibilities would include: programming content for events (committees, forums, conferences); helping to market events and the awards; and driving thought leadership. ANA events help advance the marketing knowledge of ANA members, provide a platform for sharing best practices, peer-to-peer networking, and benchmarking, plus the ability to learn about new industry developments.  Increasingly, they also provide a "voice" for marketers to advocate on behalf of industry issues.

This role essentially offers a PhD in marketing, providing the opportunity to learn about the multiple facets of advertising, media, and marketing from some of the best and brightest minds in the business.

Professional Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Existing knowledge of topical areas, i.e., multicultural marketing, diversity, sponsorship & experiential marketing
  • Agency, client-side marketing or other relevant experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Passion for the industry
  • Strong sense of personal ownership of responsibilities in a results-oriented environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Attention to detail
