Xandr is seeking a Director of Business Development to join our TV Platform (TVP) Business Development team, with the primary purpose of driving utilization of the Xandr platform from agencies and advertisers. This senior position will be responsible for consulting with clients to deliver solutions that build advertising spend for premium television inventory available through Xandr marketplaces. Working in the high-growth sector of advanced TV, which includes data-driven linear, CTV/OTT and linear addressable, the Director will leverage relationships with investment and planning team members to drive purchases of inventory from TV partners through the Xandr platform. This position reports to Xandrs VP of TVP Business Development.


The Director of TVP Business Development will:


+ Evangelize the benefits of Xandrs Invest TV platform with buyers, planners and key decision makers at assigned agencies and advertisers.

+ Establish partnerships with buy-side customers, including oversight of the completion of all necessary legal agreements.

+ Facilitate demand for supply available through Xandr Invest TV via direct outreach, prospecting and account management of assigned agencies and advertisers.

+ Manage demand partnerships to foster adoption and drive usage of the Invest TV platform via self-service and API access points.

+ Enable and support direct-sold transactions between Invest TV Programmers and their buying customers.

+ Manage the complete demand facilitation process for Xandr managed service activity: Prospecting, RFI/RFP response, proposal creation/submission, negotiation, close orders and service clients. This requires close collaboration with the Xandr Customer Success team.

+ Develop and maintain Account Plans to organize advertiser and agency outreach efforts, CRM, and communication of Xandr Commercial opportunities.

+ Work closely with the Customer Success, Product Marketing, Product and Engineering teams and other key stakeholders to communicate business requirements of our demand partners and ensure successful campaign performance from start to finish.

+ Understand partner and customer needs to align expectations and provide feedback/market input that will strengthen the Xandr value proposition.

+ Develop and maintain an understanding of advanced audience measurement sources and how they are applied to forecasting and delivery in TV.

+ Collaborate with the VP, TVP BD to develop Account Plans, KPI targets and performance goals.

+ Achieve or exceed revenue goals.


+ 6+ years of national TV sales experience

+ Deep knowledge of the advanced TV/data-driven linear/CTV/OTT/linear addressable ecosystem

+ Strong relationships with senior buyers and planners at large agencies and holding companies such as Horizon, Publicis (Zenith, Starcom, Spark), Havas, IPG (Matterkind), WPP (GroupM/Xaxis), OMG, Dentsu (Carat) etc.

+ Strong relationships with national brand advertisers.

+ Superior presentation skills at the executive level, great communication and interpersonal skills

+ Proven experience building customer relationships and developing growth

+ Ability to think strategically about growing annual account revenue

+ Strong customer and market focus with an ability to influence decision makers to take action

+ Adaptable in the face of constant change and ability to perform at a high level; identifying solutions when faced with challenges

+ Self-starter capable of flourishing in an entrepreneurial environment

+ BA/BS Degree required
