About the role

The AppDynamics Sales organization has a history of best-in-class productivity based on a great Sales methodology executed to perfection. To support this world-class team, we are looking for a seasoned leader to manage the underlying activities and processes that keep this team ticking.

Lead a team of Sales Ops business partners aligned to each AppDynamics sales geo. This is a player/coach role that requires both people leadership and project-based work

Run the annual quota setting cycle and support with any quota setting discrepancies or questions

Partner with Finance, HR and other teams on complex cross-organizational projects

Run the global sales forecast cadence and support the CRO with additional deal context

Advise and collaborate with the global Sales VPs and the CRO on segmentation and go-to-market

Analyze business trends and present insights to leadership with your hypothesis and recommendations

Ensure any administrative tasks in our sales tools are completed as quickly and efficiently as possible

About you

You are an industrious leader that identifies the right priorities and puts in the hard work without need for external motivation. You think critically and creatively, continually reorienting to obstacles to define a better way to achieve our goals. You are willing to try and fail, but you take ownership for yourself, your people and your circumstances. You possess the empathy to understand a situation from the perspective of others and make your decisions rationally using all the information available.

8+ years of experience in consulting, sales operations, program management or other sales support functions

Extensive experience with MEDDIC and consultative selling

Previously led sales operations in a SaaS organization, and conversant in key SaaS metrics like ARR, churn, etc

Strong analytical skills and experience with data driven decision making

Clear, concise communicator at ease in front of executives

High degree of attention to detail

History of leading and developing high performing teams
