\u003Cdiv data-field=\u0022Position_Description\u0022 class=\u0022Summary\u0022\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPOSITION PURPOSE\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E The Distribution Center (DC) Asset Protection Manager is responsible for ensuring that all Asset Protection and Safety programs within The Home Depot Supply Chains are fully implemented within a single distribution center. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003E-\u003C/strong\u003E25% Initiate investigation (internal and/or external) based on a review of the Key Performance Indicators and related scorecard data and other indicators that are present (i.e. AWARELINE tips, open packaging, information passed by other associates, etc.) \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E -15% Conduct monthly audit regimen that provides insight into shrink risk, overall safety compliance and regulatory compliance. The audit process will also highlight operational deficiencies and will lead to the development of a dynamic game plan that will correct or mitigate exposures identified within the scope of the audit. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E -15% Maintain compliance with all Supply Chain security measures that will include but not be limited to a seal compliance and testing program, maintaining a strong physical security presence, all electronic security systems are in good working order at all times. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E -10% Conduct safety training and general AP topic related training each month with all associates. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E -10% Oversee and insure the integrity of the inventory accuracy auditing program within their assigned facility. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E -15% Complete and participate in all safety incident investigations so as to drive accountability and develop, if needed, new processes that prevent safety incidents from occurring. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E -10% Act as resource and support the implementation and execution of the DC associate awareness program. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003ENATURE AND SCOPE\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Typically reports to Sr. Manager, DC Asset Protection\u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EEnvironment:\u0026nbsp;\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Travel:\u0026nbsp;\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.\u003C/div\u003E\u003Cdiv data-field=\u0022Postion_Requirement\u0022 class=\u0022Requirement\u0022\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003C/strong\u003EMust be eighteen years of age or older.\u003Cbr /\u003E Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EEDUCATION REQUIRED:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: \u003C/strong\u003E2\u002B years\u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EPHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:\u0026nbsp;\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds). \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E 1-3 years of Supply Chain / Distribution management experience. Logistics and/or field investigations experience. 2 or 4 year college degree. Certified in mobile surveillance techniques. Experience with development and delivery of AP/Safety training awareness programs. Experience with CCTV and digital recording devices. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:\u0026nbsp;\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Proficient computer skills in Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint and/or Access programs. Ability to work cross functionally with a fast pace leadership team. Good communication skills (verbal and written) both operationally and within the Asset Protection group. Ability to respond and develop action plans based on audit findings and events within the assigned environment. An understanding of various regulatory compliance issues including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, Life Safety Code, DOT, etc. Ability to engage associates at all levels in order to drive awareness and compliance to asset protection programs.\u003C/div\u003E
