Youll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.Our Policy, Strategy, and Leadership - Practice Support team provides strategic oversight, manages operations, and develops policies for all aspects of PwCs Information Technology team.

8 year(s) of progressive roles leading IT transformation that include operations, policy, and business strategy.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in strategic IT including the following areas:

  • Demonstrating skill as an experienced IT leader;
  • Demonstrating proven ability in leading a team responsible for multiple application development technology disciplines including user experience, testing, system integration, and DevOps;
  • Guiding team members to advance user experience, testing, and DevOps strategies to be leveraged by all application development projects in portfolio;
  • Demonstrating knowledge of application development methodologies and technologies including scrum, kanban, and iterative;
  • Demonstrating knowledge of strategic management and delivery methodologies to drive an agile delivery culture to organize, plan and carry out complex assignments; and,
  • Using business skills (i.e. financial, resource, vendor, issue management, etc) to solve critical and strategic business technology issues.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing effortsin strategic IT including the following areas:

  • Leading an IT organization in a hands-on leadership role, accountable for tactical, financial, and strategic outcomes of the organization based on delivery and operational needs;
  • Coaching and developing the US Technology IFS Delivery Enablement team, including staff selection, engagement, development, retention, and performance;
  • Engaging with and/or leading high performing, agile delivery teams within a rapidly changing environment with employees, contractors and sourced resources;
  • Working with US Technology IFS Domain Leads, Delivery Managers and Solution Architects to understand the various priorities and roadmaps in order to staff US Technology IFS Delivery Enablement team members on projects that are delivering the highest and most strategic value;
  • Working with and providing support and assistance to the US Technology IFS Domain Leader;
  • Identifying proactivelyand taking ownership of IFS organizational functions and tasks where gaps and/or needs are identified;
  • Assuming functions and tasks as requested;
  • Engaging with IT Leadership via support and ownership of functions and tasks when requested;
  • Leading staff in the delivery of projects and initiatives;
  • Participating in IT strategy and planning activities, bringing current knowledge and future vision of technology, processes, and industry leading practices as related to business requirements and industry trends;
  • Driving organizational initiatives for US Technology IFS Delivery Enablement technology integration, setting and adjusting priorities, removing barriers and acting with an appropriate sense of urgency;
  • Collaborating with others to discover creative solutions to complex problems, which may require unique approaches, while maintaining standards and minimizing any risk to the firm;
  • Maintaining effective relationships and channels of communication with business sponsors and IT leadership including collaborating with senior level staff/partners in other departments and across IT domains;
  • Fostering working relationships in order to establish and promote a healthy cross organizational working model that includes the sharing of roadmaps;
  • Understanding and highlighting project work and initiatives across organizations; and,
  • Partnering to identify and address gaps and missing functionality while honing a working model that will result in the optimal consumption of services.
