**What You Will Achieve** Role Summary:

The Drug Product Operational Excellence Lead will proactively identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement solutions to improve operational, supply, financial, and quality performance within Drug Product Operations.

This role is key to developing and sustaining a world-class RFT / high-performance culture across Drug Product Operations through implementing and embedding IMEx (the Pfizer production system).

Role Responsibilities:

+ Lead successful implementation of IMEx elements across Drug Product Operations, and provide ongoing coaching and development to sustain qualified Process Centric Teams.

+ Deliver change management guidance and coaching to support area colleagues. Reinforce cultural changes necessary to ensure successful implementation.

+ Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization from shop floor to senior leaders on and off site to drive and influence the health of IMEx.

+ Collaborate with the Drug Product Leadership Team to evaluate and lead implementation of opportunities to improve financial performance within Drug Product Operations, including Right First Time operational execution, RIDS improvements, cost improvement & cost avoidance opportunities.

+ Act as Subject Matter Expert for Continuous Improvement, Visual Management, TPM, Standard Work, Process Robustness, and Structured Gemba elements.

**How You Will Achieve It** Organizational Relationships The Drug Product Operational Excellence Lead p osition will work closely with Leadership (Operations Directors, Senior Mgrs, Team Leaders, staff and shop floor colleagues, as well as Operational Excellence (local & above site), Quality Operations, Engineering and Maintenance, Environmental Health and Safety, and other production support enablers.

Financial Accountability This position will evaluate opportunities to improve financial performance within Drug Product Operations, including Right First Time operational execution, RIDS improvements, cost improvement & cost avoidance opportunities.

Supervision This position will evolve into a leader position with direct supervision of colleagues, and relies heavily on the candidate's ability to lead and work with diverse teams across business areas to deliver results.

**Qualifications** Must-Have

+ Bachelors in technical or business field with 5+ years of relevant experience

+ Knowledge and/or experience in process excellence and performance improvement tools.

+ Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

+ Ability to assess data and make recommendations based on data.

+ Ability to collaborate and influence others.

+ Knowledge and experience with applying and implementing Lean Principles.


+ Knowledge of IMEx principles and standards.

+ Experience and/or understanding of working in the pharmaceutical Industry.

+ Strong proficiency in Excel analytics and PowerPoint materials.

+ Ability to drive standardization approach

+ M1/Yellow Belt or Green Belt Certified


Job will include standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required.


Occasional travel may be required for specific projects or training.

Aseptic gowning training may be required.

Job may also require occasional weekend/evening work supporting a 24-hour/7 day operation.
