Were seeking a eCommerce Category Leadership Manager thats creative, analytical and forward thinking to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders on innovations and solutions to grow a $3 billion dollar eCommerce business. In this role you will have several distinct responsibilities and priorities: Key Accountabilities: Drives key customer advisory initiatives at the category level as well as aisle/department level Delivers fact-based selling stories to drive PepsiCo Sales growth and profit Partners internally with sales, insights, brand, and commercial teams on best-in-class merchandising principles & establishes rules for annual delivery of category space/assortment recos for customers multiple formats Leads (or partner with 3rd party provider) the development of best-in-class category level POGs Supports eCommerce team with the delivery of localized shopper insights for JBP (PepsiCo Insight Lead, Category/Department strategies, as well as insights that support PepsiCo AOP Innovation and Initiatives) Develops category DeComps to unlock growth opportunities (internally and externally) Partners with Sales and Insights on Customer and Channel learning agendas Supports BU-specific strategic decisions with an impact on the DX function for ad hoc/in plan requests Communicates with cross-functional teams regarding projects, insights, and company issues Accountable for implementing strategies across all PEP categories based on shopper insights and market trends and aligning these insights to PEP brands to drive category and market share growth with priority eCommerce customers Influencing the category, space, and assortment consultancy for eCommerce platforms at Amazon, Instacart and other key eCommerce customers. Delivering annual growth priorities and helping to shape a long-term, insight-driven growth agenda. Develop category management strategies and tactics to accelerate both category growth and maximize the growth potential for both PEP and key omnichannel customers. Driving space and planogram responsibilities for eCommerce customers who are developing physical stores, eCommerce dark stores, and eCommerce grocery urban warehouses COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role. Please note that all such company vaccine requirements provide the opportunity to request an approved accommodation or exemption under applicable law Qualifications/Requirements 3+ years of category management or syndicated data experience 5+ years experience in analyzing data and/or CPG sales Strong analytical skills: ability to understand, interpret, and glean insights from complex data Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely Strong teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally Superior presentation skills, both in development of compelling stories and in presenting them within customer and internal organization Critical thinking and strategic acumen demonstrated thought leadership and ability to link strategies and objectives to develop an executable plan Previous eCommerce (internal or external to PEP) preferred Need thorough understanding of IRI/Nielsen syndicated data, prefer experience with shopper loyalty data and exposure to Space Management and relevant software (e.g. JDA ProSpace) Category Management, Insights, and Space functional experience Internal (PEP) and Customer Development proven ability to interface at all levels of management Cross-functional collaboration ability to set the insights agenda & inspire /collaborate cross-functionally to gain alignment on solutions Comfortable navigating ambiguity to define a clear direction on strategic projects and be skilled at gaining alignment on strategic initiatives with the customer Interest in problem-solving and continuous learning Interpersonal skills to influence and enable multiple stakeholders and teams across both PEP (eCommerce, Sales, Marketing, DX) and customer teams.
