EHS Change Management Associate

This position is responsible for managing and facilitating the change control assessment, documentation and closure for all CRs at the site. The position will be responsible for the assessment, which includes all EHS risks & impacts associated with that change, identifying mitigation, controls, closure responsibilities (multiple business units) and documentation of EHS risks at the McPherson Pfizer site. Position will assist with construction safety program and site operational safety as needed and required.


Position will have full ownership, management and

accountability for the CR program within EHS.

Conduct change meetings with CR owners to verify the

close out of those CRs as well as review and understanding

of the assessments done. Document changes as required.

Partner with business leaders and department personnel to

understand operational changes and develop

implementation plans for those changes to safely occur.

Assess all change requests through the site QTS system

filling out appropriate documentation

Communicate changes or impacts to needed key

stakeholders and impacted EHS team members when

required in appropriate format (verbal, written, etc.)

Manage all change assessments within the QTS system,

including follow-ups and requisition closures.

Manage the site's risk assessment process, documenting

assessments preformed, mitigation requirements following

site EHS and cGMP guidelines, and tracking any modifications or changes to those risk assessments.

Partner with contractors during implementation,

installation and decommission of equipment, materials and

processes to assess changes in alignment with the change

verification process.

Oversee aspects of the Construction safety programs and

coordinate with Pfizer colleagues and contractors on work

completed at the site in relation to these programs.

Assist with Construction Safety programs including

contractor safety, contractor safety team, and high hazard

programs as assigned.

Learn and assist with other EHS required systems as

required (Medgate, Pdocs, Enablon, MP2, Speara, etc.).


Bachelor's Degree 3-5 years' experience in EHS, OR a

combination of Degree, EHS & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing OR

Associates Degree with 5+ years' experience in EHS, or a

combination of Degree, EHS & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

EHS knowledge of risk assessments and mitigation and ability to apply knowledge to changes/locations within the site.

Proficient time management skills and experience with

managing multiple competing priorities, assessing critical

paths, and accomplishing task assigned within expected



Associate Safety Professional (ASP)

Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in an EHS related field

Work experience with EHS high hazard programs, including but not limited to construction, working at height, electrical, etc., and can manage / own those programs within the site


Ability to walk, climb stairs & ladders, and carry up to 25 lbs for limited distances

Ability to qualify with all gowning requirements throughout the site and maintain all access required training

Ability to perform complex data analysis including math


Ability to research and develop cost effective solutions

following site recognized capital & expense planning to

mitigate EHS risk


Ability to support 24/7 operations and support 2nd shift as

needed / assigned

Ability to support operations external to site in adverse

weather (hot, cold, wet conditions) as required for assigned
