Engineering Systems Senior Associate

The primary purpose of this role is maintaining data within the site's learning management system for Site Maintenance & Engineering, Technical Operations, and other departments as assigned. This is accomplished as follows in the below role responsibilities.


+ Maintain curricula assignments as current and appropriate by completing a thorough annual curricula review with managers/supervisors.

+ Establish a training plan for new hires and obtain approval.

+ Modify training plans as requested and approved by managers/supervisors.

+ Troubleshoot reported LMS functionality issues and elevate if found to be a system issue versus an individual issue.

+ Assist individuals with computer settings, as needed.

+ Assist in manual data entry of training completions.

+ Review/approve assessments, both knowledge and skill.

+ Complete training assessments during procedure revision process.

+ Assemble training packets as needed.

+ Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities.

+ Support network and site initiatives for system upgrades and changes.

+ Supports site level customers in use of the designated engineering system.

+ Provides troubleshooting as needed to ensure system performance meets customer needs.

+ Maintains system master data.

+ Performs system administrative functions such as report generation, metric reporting, system health checks, compliance evaluations and managing work process flows.

+ Supports network and site initiatives for system upgrades and changes.

+ Identifies and supports continuous improvement opportunities related to the designated engineering system.

+ Supports Board of Health (BOH) and internal audits


+ AAS degree in business, technical or similar field with 8 years of experience is requiredOR

+ BA/BS degree in business, technical or similar field with 5 years of experience is required

+ Direct knowledge and experience managing any applicable engineering system is required.

+ Proficient in administrator functions of learning management systems such as: PLS, Plateau, or Sum Total

+ Proficient in commonly used computer software (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, etc.)

+ Must have good written and oral communication skills

+ Knowledge/experience of electronic systems including document management systems such as documentum or PDOCS and commitment tracking systems such as Trackwise or QTS


+ Experience within a biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical cGMP environment is desired, including experience with BOH inspections is preferred.

+ Experience with customer service related roles

+ Ability to manage a large workload, prioritize, and meet deadlines


Position requirements are typical for an office-based work environment with occasional excursions into manufacturing, warehousing or utility areas. There are no unusual physical or mental requirements for this position.


Schedule is primarily day shift but may require off-shift or weekend work on occasion. Travel to other Pfizer sites may be required on occasion to support specific project activities
