Your Role and Responsibilities

As the SAP Agile Consultant you will guide, and implement SAP Agile projects while sharing that experience with project teams. You will provide mentorship, feedback, and advice to new project teams and with teams that want to perform at a higher level. You will offer guidance without personal or political consideration, and participate as needed to see to the success of each project team as their mentor.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Provide team training on SAP Agile processes and techniques
  • Serve as mentor and coach only and not as part of the scrum team
  • Advise on appropriate SAP Agile tools and reporting
  • Work with process design and ISV teams to help them improve performance to get the benefits of applying Agile principles to their work
  • Understand how to influence people and lead organizational change collaboratively
  • Help the team to become self-coaching and adept in applying agile then you move on
  • Primary focus is team performance towards company goals rather than the personal growth of individual team members
  • Intervene to improve understanding and skills on the team
  • Champion process improvement by helping the team become more aware of their (mindless) habits
  • Improve effort by building shared commitment and minimizing free-riding
  • Improve team motivation by bringing them together to establish shared goals that they believe are achievable and open up team discussion of whats in it for them

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated SAP Agile Trainer expertise
  • At least 3 years of delivering Agile Training to groups of 20 or more
  • Demonstrated communication skills such as listening, asking questions and giving feedback
  • At least 3 years experience delivering processes and ISV functionality iteratively
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated ability to spend time with a project team to help them become more aware of their workflow and how to collaborate effectively
  • At least 3 years of running SAP Agile projects of varying size, complexity and with distribution locations on a full time basis



Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • SAP Certified and/or 3+ years working on SAP projects as Functional and/or Technical Lead
  • Agile PMI-ACP and/or ICAgile ICP and/or CSM, CPO or CSP (much preferred)
