What Youll Do

As an Enterprise Architect you are a customer influencer at CxO level. You will engage with the customers strategic decision makers to shape the future IT strategy and create a transformational roadmap for business success. Align enterprise and cross-technology architecture with the customer's digital strategy to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Translate the customer's business needs into actionable IT strategy, and together with the Cisco Customer Experience (CX) Service Delivery team, create defined target-state cross-technology architectures with supporting governance and service management.

Articulate the business and financial justification of IT programs and the associated technology spend through business cases, return on investment and TCO analysis. You will define future business and operating models aligned to customer success metrics.

Benchmark customer capabilities and maturity against competitors and peers in similar industries and markets.

Enhance the adoption of Cisco technologies and Services through the delivery and governance of innovative operating models to make sure customer organizations are ready to more swiftly consume new capabilities.

Understand the competitive landscape and where Cisco has a strength that can be brought to bear. Equally you will know where our threats exist and what we need to do to demonstrate technical leadership and innovation to secure and stabilize existing and new franchises.

Help expand our relevance and enable the product and services sales teams. Be innovative and will look to disrupt and innovate our ways of working to create new opportunity and maintain relevance. You will not accept the status quo and will continually challenge the team to up their game and position Cisco Customer Experience as the digital transformation partner of choice.


Who Youll Work With

As the Enterprise Architect aligned to some of our most important strategic customers, you will collaborate across boundaries with the customer facing CX Service Delivery team and the sales organization. You will be part of a multi-function customer service delivery team, comprising of Services Managers, Solution Architects, Consulting Engineers and Project Managers.


Who You Are

  • Customer Influencer at CxO level, conduit between customer and Ciscos Customer Experience Team
  • Big thinker, you stretch the thinking of how technology can be used for business success
  • Technology futurist and evangelist, a leader of strategic technical direction
  • Able to understand, build and articulate business architecture, with supporting financial analysis
  • Ability to assess IT capability and maturity in relevant market sectors (Financial or Commercial preferred)
  • Extensive experience in leading sophisticated architectural engagements
  • Strong conceptual understanding of multiple technologies and how they drive business transformation
  • Youll be known for your keen problem solving, critical thinking, active listening and negotiating skills
  • Leadership and Innovation skills ability to demonstrate where you have led innovative business or technology programmes
  • Someone who achieves success through partnership and collaborates strongly with others for the overall success of the business
  • Business Writing, Board Level Presentation and Communication skills
  • This role will require collaborative presence within the UKI region, so you must be prepared to travel to customer and Cisco locations on a regular basis.
