**ROLE SUMMARY**

This role sits within The Enterprise Platforms & Security (EP&S) team and delivers the following capabilities for Pfizer. Business application platforms supporting Pfizer's enterprise application and critical business processes. Infrastructure allowing business traffic to travel where it needs to go, internally and externally, along with the appropriate access controls. EP&S secures Pfizer's most important information assets through world class controls and protections and enables Pfizer's business results by making security an enabler and not a roadblock to achieving business results.



The EP&S Project Execution Associate will perform key day to day activities within EPS Projects Portfolio comprising of Waterfall and Agile Projects. Activities include but are not limited to operating the project execution framework and methodologies critical to ensuring successful project delivery and that all projects are completed on time, within scope and budget. This role will also ensure that compliance and communication requirements are inherent to the project execution.



The position will perform this function in partnership with the EPS teams and will work directly for the Portfolio Execution Lead.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Act as a single point of contact for PMO Operational activities

+ Act as the EP&S Project Execution Framework expert; Ownership of the framework content and playbooks

+ Champion and refine EP&S Program Execution Processes and Methodologies; Become a resident expert

+ Ensure all Projects are accurately recorded in EP&S Project Tracker and Plan of Record

+ Work with Project Managers and Service Quality team to ensure Portfolio Dashboards are reflecting accurate project statuses

+ Facilitate important PMO meetings and perform follow ups as required

+ Ensure Business Operations Portal is always up to date with current content

+ Proactively generate ideas to improve efficiencies through process enhancements and automation

+ Manage projects using waterfall and/or Agile Project Methodology

+ Prioritize cross project dependencies for awareness and escalation

+ Participate in recurring Portfolio meeting and maintain ongoing lessons learned log to improve Portfolio Execution playbook

+ Maintain and address Program level change control and RAID items

+ Manage ad-hoc Projects and Portfolio tasks as assigned



**QUALIFICATIONS**



+ BS in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, Sciences or related field. MBA desirable

+ Minimum 3 years experience with program or project management

+ Prior experience on a scrum team playing a scrum master role

+ Minimum 3 years experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry

+ Experience managing medium to large scale and global IT projects using various methodologies

+ Excellent oral and written communications

+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence external customers to achieve desired results

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with individuals and groups at multiple levels across a global organization

+ Ability to challenge, improve and develop existing practices & processes

+ Self-motivated with the ability to drive work forward

+ Expertise in Microsoft Office suite and experience with Microsoft Project & SharePoint

+ Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

+ PMP & ITIL Certifications desired

+ Scrum Master Certification required
