Sodexo at the University of Minnesota - Morris is seeking an Executive Chef 1 in Morris, MN.  **Relocation Assistance Is Available!** This exciting Executive Chef role will focus on producing high quality food and consistently providing the WOW Factor for our customers in their dining experience. Our successful leader will provide culinary direction for this small unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management, training and mentoring.   Demonstrated history of consistent exceptional customer satisfaction reviews preferred. This small and very friendly campus is a great place to showcase your culinary skills.  The campus is about 2 hours from Fargo - Moorhead and 3 hours from the Twin Cities. Two years Executive Chef level Management Experience Required.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
