Sodexo Aviation Services is seeking an Executive Chef 2 to join the Delta Sky Club mega-hub in Atlanta. Prior experience managing high-volume/large scale first-class culinary operations, large teams, culinary systems and logistics is a must. The Executive Chef will work closely with Delta and the Sodexo team to create exciting and sophisticated culinary experiences for the Delta guests, exceeding expectations while enhancing client program objectives. 

 

This position is responsible for the organization and execution oversight of all culinary operations serving close to 5,000 guests daily within the busiest club in the system. A great opportunity to for an energetic chef who is looking to be part of a large culinary corporation on a prestigious client portfolio. Excellent communication skills are a must and this position reports into a Senior Executive Chef, Culinary Director as well as the Operations Director on site.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.  Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.  Key Duties- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.  - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manages catering & retail areas.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.-  Manages food & physical safety programs.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree  Basic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.Sodexo is an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
