SodexoMAGIC Walt Disney World is seeking a high performer with a proven track record of success for an experienced Executive Chef opportunity in Orlando, Fl. This position oversee the Team Disney Caf© & catering and reports to the Area Executive Chef. The ideal Executive Chef candidate will:

Have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; have the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service. They will also demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC) or other industry recognized ordering and procurement and recipe systems. The ideal candidate is also proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.  Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.  Key Duties- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.  - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manages catering & retail areas.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.-  Manages food & physical safety programs.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience Basic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.Sodexo is an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
