**Unit Description**
**Sodexo Seniors** is seeking an experienced **Facilities / Engineering Operations Manager** to support our facility maintenance and environmental services operations at **Birmingham Green** in **Manassas, VA.** This senior living community in Northern Virginia is rich in history and comprised of 3 separate Skilled & Rehab and Assisted Living Resident Homes on campus.
**Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:**
+ strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, fire protection, safety systems, civil, low voltage, demolition, architectural and energy management;
+ preferably have **CFC** and **OSHA 10**
+ familiarly with TELS as that is the work order platform utilized;
+ are an expert in building and maintaining strong customer / client relationships;
+ possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
+ can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees and change management;
+ operations and maintenance management experience in an health care / senior living environment;
+ strong financial acumen and budget management experience; and/or
+ are proficient with computers and other technology.

**Position Summary**
Responsible for a single scope of work in hard services area. 3rd in command
Supervises the account as the #2 manager and has full responsibility including supervision of other managers. Responsible for entire account when the Director of Facilities Ops is not present. In Univ. same as above as well as size and scope is less than an Ops 2;
Key Duties
- Manage one other manager; typically in account with smaller volume and FTE count; Manage by walking around; Staffs, trains, and is responsible for employee development
- Technical client interface
- Payroll and time mgmt. of frontline staff
- Oversees and coordinates projects
- Manages work orders/CMMS
- Manages mechanicals (i.e. HVAC)
- Manages financials
- Responsible for client relations/engagement
- Manages QA and Safety
**Qualifications & Requirements**
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
