    Sodexo has a virtual opportunity for a Facility Management (FM) Business Information Manager.

     

    Reporting to the VP of FM Service Development, the FM Business Information Manager will perform analysis of facility management services, products, designs, projects, and/or vendors for the FM Platform and internal stakeholders. Performs internal and external market research with respect to facility management competition, technology, technical services and market initiatives. Also supports new product/offer development from an internet technology, internet of things, mobile technologies and apps, robotics, user experience design, data analytics, sustainability and process improvements. 

     

    This position has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with assigned FM projects for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, FM service management, risk management and relationship management. This position will be responsible for developing and compiling research to be used by other team members or departments within Sodexo. This position will proactively knowledge of technology gaps, risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of new FM services and offers.

     

    Functional Experience:

    • This person should have experience working in a facility management organization.
    • Technical writing expertise with both strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • High skill level with producing documents within all Microsoft suites tools, Smartsheet, analytical software and working in affiliated Microsoft Office programs.
    • Advanced analytical tool capabilities for analyzing data is also desired.

    Location and Travel 

    For this virtual opportunity, candidates should reside near a major airport within the U.S.  This position will require up to 40% travel.

    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Senior Director Product/Offer Development, performs analysis of products and offer developments for Comprehensive Service Solutions and clients. Performs market research with respect to competition, technology, technical services and market initiatives. Also supports new product/offer roll-outs.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years technical market research, engineering, or related fields
