What You'll Do

Our Federal Civilian Operation seeks a seasoned Operation-Level Systems Architect who will lead the design and architecture of very large and complex data center and multi-domain networks with our Federal customers, partners and sales teams. You will have complete command of Ciscos DNA/SDA and SDWAN stories with detailed knowledge of their architecture, design and implementation. The ideal candidate must be able to incorporate these future-state architectures with customers installed-base of legacy networks. Specific activities include interacting directly with customers as well as assisting the sales teams in demonstrations, Proof of Concepts and detailed designs. Detailed knowledge of Ciscos classical campus and wide area solutions is a must as well as know-how in the migration of these environments to DNA/SDA and SDW architectures.

You must have a strong familiarity and knowledge of Cisco Devnet (Ciscos developer program) along with the skills to leverage APIs and SDKs to write applications and integration to Cisco products.

One primary use case is how to effectively orchestrate and automate the network infrastructure.

We help our sales force, partners, and customers stay up to date on the latest product improvements, as well as understand the value, and unique advantages that come with the most complete and advanced networking products in the industry.

Who You Are

You know how to lead the design and architecture of very large and complex campus and wide area networks with our Federal customers, partners and sales teams.

This individual is expected to have complete command of Ciscos DNA/SDA and SDWAN stories with detailed knowledge of their architecture, design and implementation.

You must have a strong familiarity and knowledge of Cisco Devnet (Ciscos developer program) along with the skills to leverage APIs and SDKs to write applications and integration to Cisco products.

The ideal candidate must be able to incorporate these future-state architectures with customers installed-base of legacy networks.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

       7+ years of relevant industry experience with Cisco and/or similar networking vendors.

       You must have Pre-Sales experience.

       BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent work experience is required.

       CCIE certification or equivalent level of expertise is required.

       Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement for this role.

       You will have the ability to work effectively in a team setting with the capacity to assume a leadership role will be key factors to success.

       You are comfortable adapting to an ever-changing technical environment as Ciscos networking architecture continues to evolve over the next 18-36 months.

       Applicant must have the ability to undergo a successful background investigation and maintain a US National Security clearance for this position. Requirements for a security clearance will be explained in detail upon receipt of your application and if your personal background prevents you from obtaining a clearance or passing a background investigation, application for this position will have to be returned to the applicant.

       There is a 30% expected travel requirement for this role
