What you'll do

You'll be developing and executing daring growth strategies and an action plan to maximize Cisco's opportunity.

  • You will have booking and expense responsibilities and be accountable for solid long-term business decisions (including people development, customer loyalty, and balancing short-term business issues within Cisco against long-term goals).
  • You'll handle annual revenue portfolio and will lead a sales team. You will be attracting, developing and retaining high performance Account Team talent (career development, coaching, performance management and hiring).
  • Your role will have direct responsibility for the product strategy and execution.
  • You'll have responsibility for Financial Performance - Exceeding bookings goal (by geography, architecture and vertical), managing opex goal, and maintaining forecast accuracy; providing visibility and in depth knowledge into numbers (customer insights, macro/micro trends, consumption models).
  • You will build a winning capability and leading change - Strategically leading and influencing your own team along with integrated cross-functional teams.

We are one winning team effectively facilitating joint initiatives with multi-functional teams and strategically engaging multi-functional resources to achieve our goals You will work with Cisco field account managers, systems engineers and partners to plan sales strategy, develop proposals, and deliver customer presentations. We focus on contributing to the long-term success of Cisco by building strong customer relationships.

Who you are:

You are passionate about the customer experience and excited about new technology. You are a curious, detailed orientated, highly motivated, self-starter. You are strong collaborator and comfortable with ambiguity and driving change. You will possess both technical and customer-facing skills that will deliver extraordinary solutions to the worlds biggest companies. You'll partner with and influence executive level managers, as critical strategic decisions are made for the business.

  • You have a consistent track record handling significant revenue responsibility and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals.
  • You have experience in Cisco technologies. Business Development and strategy experience required.
  • You have the validated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • BA degree - MBA or graduate degree preferred
  • 10+ years of management roles selling solutions to senior executives at named accounts
  • Strong executive presence
  • Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing a sales organization
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade.
