Job Description
General Summary:
Contributes to North America Shared Services (NASS) success by leading the development and delivery of automation solutions designed to drive cash flow, improve productivity, promote standardization, enhance controls and minimize process risk. Serve as the technical lead for automation initiatives throughout the project lifecycle. Work across various functions to procure and evaluate business process requirements, design technical architecture of the RPA solution, oversee unit testing for quality assurance, partner with process teams to ensure training for end-users. Other responsibilities include working with RPA Developers across NASS and Global Shared Services organizations.
Accountabilities:
Keep current on latest in Robotic Process Automation, prioritizing personal development within existing RPA infrastructure while promoting broader awareness to emerging technologies
Identify opportunities for reuse of existing bot components to drive development efficiency and reduce delivery cycle time
Identify process and system redundancies; collaborating with business partners to implement process and technical changes
Development- Automation Programming (50%)
Partner with Process Engineer and Leadership to understand requirements & design proposals for automation
Work with the business team to analyze and assess automation feasibility
Translate business requirements into technical design documents
Configure automation processes as prescribed by internal COE standards
Develop a code/script to meet the defined design/solution approach
Ensure the quality of coded components by performing end to end unit testing
Provide implementation and post-production support
Support RPA COE efforts to maintain relevant technology and tools; supports platform upgrade testing and deployment
Documentation (15%)
Ensure timely and comprehensive execution of process documents in compliance with RPA COE standards (incl. Process Design documents, Technical Design documents, Automation Solution flow charts, etc.)
Support the development of end-user documentation and training materials as required for new functionality and processes
Ensure version control procedures are followed
Documenting and submitted all code for review and alignment
Baseline Support/ Active Automation Maintenance (25%)
Oversee execution of existing RPA processes, ensuring ongoing automation integrity, acceptable performance and troubleshooting
Support and drive change management of existing processes as per new requirements using a structured change control process
Qualifications/Requirements
Prior experience developing automation jobs (UiPath, Blueprism, Openspan, Automation Anywhere, Winautomation)
Experience and/or certification in programming languages; SQL, VB.Net,C#
Proven ability to influence without direct authority
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good client interaction skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience, as well as produce clear and concise written documentation
Experience with Office 365 tools including Collaboration tools such as Teams and Sharepoint
Demonstrated capability to manage and complete multiple concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders
Experience operating in a matrix management organization
Aptitude to contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures to deliver continual improvement
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strong team orientation; must be able to work in a collaborative environment
Detail-oriented with sound organizational skills
Proficient in documentation, requirements gathering
Microsoft power user
Preferred Qualifications:
UiPath Certification
Four-year degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related IT function
Project management certification and experience
