Finance Manager (Finance Lead Wuxi)

Finance Manager provides Financial Operation support with month-end-close activities, budgeting, forecasting, actual spend reporting, fixed asset management, day-to-day accuracy of financial records. The role requires an individual who is capable of driving efficiency through continuous improvement of operational and financial process, while working in a complex, matrix environment and managing competing priorities. The scope includes financial support of an operating expense and capital budget and requires the ability to interact with all levels of the finance organization and assist in driving the delivery of the financial targets of the business.

The Capital Spend at Wuxi is anticipated at $ 35M and labor/overhead absorption is budgeted at $8M. This role will report to the SI APAC Finance Director.

The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial support for the Wuxi business unit. This includes costing and a comprehensive understanding of operational practices, apart from oversight of Accounting and Financial Controls.


**Core Responsibilities Include, But May Not Be Limited To**

+ Leading, innovating, and executing a range of value-creating projects to drive superior business results

+ Ad-hoc projects include: data analysis, insights generation, and communication of results

+ Supporting ad reporting; including generation of client performance reports and data needed by different internal stakeholders

+ Process improvements and close participation different corporate initiatives

**Specific Responsibilities Include**

+ Strong technical accounting knowledge. (FASB, US GAAP, GAAS)

+ Perform and supervise monthly close processes: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis

+ Supervise GMX - (transfer price), and Intercompany transactions

+ Lead Financial Compliance Meetings in addition to all audit activities

+ Builds relationship with shared service providers (GFS and Mfg CoE)

+ Perform inventory analysis and calculate monthly inventory reserves

+ Perform budget vs. actual analysis reviews with various levels of management

+ Own budget preparation and budget vs. actual P&L files

+ Prepare all financial reporting packages including Waterfall analysis

+ Participate in the Budget and Standard Cost Setting Yearly Process.

+ Own corporate submissions and financial reporting to Corporate

+ Partner with cross-functional business counterparts to develop annual business plans and analyze year-to-date performance and historical trends

+ Collaborate with responsible parties to develop action plans to close any identified gaps

+ Make financial updates in accordance Pfizer policies

+ Handle inter-company transactions with affiliate companies

+ Manage SOX control documentation and participate in SOX testing and audit activities as needed

+ Document and maintain all financial work processes

+ Helps with the development of Managed Talent
