Sodexo Universities is seeking an experienced high volume Restaurant Manager/Assistant Manager for our **RESOURCE Food Service Manager 3,** to be **based out of our Fort Lewis College account in Durango, CO** which includes 1200 1500 meals daily and 4 food retail venues, but will also be functioning as a **resource manager for the NM, AZ, NV university accounts as needed approximately 50% travel.** This RESOURCE Food Service Manager will assist as interim manager, support Start Up for new accounts, provide training to managers on new systems.


As Resource Manager, you would have an incredible opportunity to be trained in Sodexo systems and processes with intent to **advance into an operations** or GM management role within 12 24 months as positions open up in the region.


**RELOCATION is available for candidates who live more than 50 miles from the unit!**


Building relationships with clients and customers is vital to your success in this position **. A positive attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and support our Sodexo dining operations in the region or within our Global company!** Reporting to the General Manager at Fort Lewis , this **Hands On RESOURCE Manager** will support Student Resident Dining, Food Retail Concepts and may assist with Catering; and will oversee scheduling, payroll, labor hours, hiring and training new staff.

+ have culinary understanding and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

+ can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

+ have strong understanding of financials, Payroll, and strong computer skills; and/or

+ demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems and proficient in computer skills and report management.

**Position Summary**


Provides supervision for multi-functional food service areas at an account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit through the implementation of Sodexo programs while executing against Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Duties

- Maintains and develops client relationships and customer satisfaction for multi-functional food service areas to ensure account retention and positive public relations

- Establishes and maintains a safe work environment

- Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards

- Utilizes Sodexo resources and programs to ensure operating standards and regulatory requirements are met and employees have the necessary equipment and inventory

- Manages by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate in order drive a high-level of employee engagement


**Qualifications & Requirements**


Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
