**Job Description:**



**Responsibilities:**



+ As Chief Data Scientist for Consumer Client Protection, serve as the thought leader to identify and establish analytical platforms and standardized practices for fraud detection strategies.

+ Provide oversight for all model ownership responsibilities including testing, validation and implementation. Ensure that all execution and use remains in compliance with Policy, Standards and Procedures.

+ Partner with Model Governance Team to ensure complete alignment on model compliance practices.

+ Influence the model process through design, development and governance to effectively adapt to new and emerging technology in a balanced manner.

+ Establish a vision for the next generation of analytical tools and execute against the defined roadmap.

+ Work across all products and channels to establish standardized routines and consistency for Fraud Strategies.

+ Establish consistent key performance indicators to track and drive optimal strategy performance across platforms, products and organizations.

+ Identify, test and incorporate relevant emerging technology to enable a forward leaning data approach. To be inclusive of the adoption of machine learning, behavioral analytics .

+ Establish the golden source of data for all Fraud data sources. Partner with various internal stakeholders to create connections and tap into existing data warehouses to expand the use of data to enable linkages that can establish broad entity level views.

+ Expand use of network, entity and portfolio level analytics to enable stronger detection strategies and actionable alerts that can identify and take timely action on macro level trends, organized fraud rings as well as a complete customer level view.



**Requirements:**



+ 10+ of years of Fraud Strategy development experience

+ 6+ years of direct experience and familiarity working with industry fraud models as well as analytical platforms and languages including SAS and Python

+ Experience with testing and implementing emerging technology such as behavioral analytics, machine learning and network level analytics

+ Ability to create and leverage business partnerships across the enterprise

+ Extensive knowledge of the regulatory guidelines in the fraud rules and models space

+ Proven leadership abilities and demonstrated aptitude of assessing financial performance and interpreting analytics
