Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Front -end developer:
  • You are responsible for developing the application that is compliant with ITSS, Accessibility standard (CI 162) and design standards.
  • Work in an agile, collaborative environment across software architecture, understanding both front-end and back-end concerns, while specializing in the front-end.
  • Work closely with visual designers to take wireframes from conception to implementation and work closely with back-end developers to ensure implemented UI codes / API's are unit tested and production-code ready.
  • Code user interfaces, including interactions, responsive layouts, and styling.
  • Use and contribute to the W3DS (Design Standards) to produce optimum user experiences.Ensure user interfaces are accessible and enhance the performance of the application.
  • Works in programming languages like JavaScript, Node.js or frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular.
  • Skilled in UI development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JSON and API usage.
About the project:
  • "Three front-end application developers will work closely with the back-end developers to build the Apollo application that will allow employees to view / assess their skills & expertise, to express interest of new job opportunities, to receive the job requisitions with matching skills requirements and to identify the skill/experience gaps of the new job opportunities so that recommendations of learning courses can be delivered.
  • The missions of the Apollo project are to improve job mobility and reskill / upskill IBMers.
