**Unit Description**


**Sodexo Corporate Services** is looking for a **General Manager 1** to join our team at Eastman Headquarters in Kingsport TN! The current food landscape consists of 7 cafes, micro-markets, coffee shop and catering operations.


We are looking for a **General Manger 1 will be responsible for the daily operation of 1 cafe and 1 coffee shop** . Duties will include but not limited to:


+ Overseeing the day to day operation

+ Ordering produce and beverages

+ Submitting inventory

+ Managing a team of 1 supervisor and 10 to 15ftes

+ Responsible for unit finances

+ Interacting with Executive level clients on a daily basis

+ Cash handling

+ Safety and HACCP


This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, A Monday through Friday, schedule of 6am to 3pm. No Nights, Weekends or Holidays. Location is closed a week in July and a week during Christmas.


**Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.**

**Position Summary**


Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

**Qualifications & Requirements**


Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience


Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
