Sodexo is seeking an General Manager- Multi-Service for St. Luke's McCall Medical Center in McCall, ID.   St. Luke's McCall is a 15-bed critical access facility and it's nestled in a beautiful resort community that is known for it's outdoor recreational amenities and bordering McCall Lake.  The multi-services GM will oversee both the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) department and Environmental Services (EVS) department with a staff of 20 employees. 

 

The FNS department is responsible for patient meal service production and delivery, using the Sodexo EFY national menu and room service delivery system.  The department is also responsible for one retail operation (cafe) on-site supporting staff and visitor feeding 7 days a week. The EVS department assures standard EVS procedures of cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining quality standards for the main site, as well as seven smaller off-site buildings (offices). This position is supported by both a FNS and EVS GM in the Boise area (nearest metropolitan area within 100 miles) but will need to be able to make independent decisions based on daily business and operational needs.

  • partner with the Environment of Care Committee, Infection Prevention Director and other key members of hospital leadership;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships

  • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.
  • support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

The ideal candidate:

  • has a work history demonstrating great leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees and change management;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
  • will be hands-on in both areas to support teams as needed and during vacations, holidays and position replacements. 
  • has prior cooking experience, extensive HACCP knowledge and facility cleaning and sanitation knowledge is highly recommended to support the existing team.
  • has strong financial acumen and budget management experience;
  • will have Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or able to obtain within 1 year of employment.

Position Summary

Functions as the leader for multiple core services, in a single account and/or multiple locations within the same contract. Single point of contact and/or client liaison in support of business that in total is $5 million or less in managed volume.Key Duties- Monitors operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects, implement new processes, client interactions, and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.

- Develops business plan and budget w/each account GM that supports the System and District goals Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo.

- Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison promoting a solid business partnership - assists in contract negotiations for the system.

- Maintains Quality & Company Standards reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sodexo / System Client(s) policies and procedures.

- Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.

- Provides strategic leadership to the respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience   

Basic Management Experience - 5 years
