We are looking for you to guide this strong team through innovation and growth.  The Food & Nutrition GM oversees all aspects of patient room service dining, retail cafe, catering, and community outreach.  The GM interacts with hospital administration, department directors, and manages a team of Foodservice Managers and Chefs to provide nourishment for patients and hospital associates.    

 

Established in 2017, UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, located in Longmont, Colorado, is a 51-bed, acute-care hospital that provides a wide range of diagnostic tests, surgeries and treatments. In addition to the residents of Longmont, UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital is a convenient choice for the communities of Firestone, Frederick, Dacono, Erie, Mead, Platteville, Ft. The successful candidate will:

  • exemplify outstanding leadership
  • have strong interpersonal and client relations skills
  • have familiarity with Sodexo hospital programs or similar external programs (Patient Experience, Healthtouch, Retail Ranger).
  • have demonstrated success obtaining results in patient satisfaction, employee engagement, financial responsibility, and innovative retail concepts  
  • have proven strategic planning
  • have been actively involved in Diversity Awareness.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • proven record of exceeding performance metrics which may include patient satisfaction, employee engagement, retail revenue, and cost reductions
  • a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;  knowledge of The Joint Commission regulatory requirements
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
  • has experience working in a healthcare setting and understands regulatory compliance

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience  

Basic Management Experience - 5 years              

Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
