**Sodexo Corporate Services** is looking for a **GM/Chef Manager** to join our team at one of our accounts located in **Johnston, RI!** The current food landscape consists of 1 corporate cafe with a coffer bar and catering operations with a total MV of 500K.


The **GM/Chef Manager** is the number 1 for the operation and is also the chef for the operation, In this lead management role, you will direct and participate in all of the daily food contract operations for this account to include all culinary operations


**The ideal candidate has:**


+ a culinary background with cafeteria / restaurant style dining experience;

+ excellent hospitality, leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies

+ the demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities; and/ or

+ excellent leadership and communication skills.


**The successful candidate will:**


+ manage the daily food production including production planning and controls and cook if needed;

+ ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;

+ have a passion for food; and/or

+ have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members.


This position offers a traditional Business & Industry,Predominately M-F scheduled. **Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.**

**Position Summary**


Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

**Qualifications & Requirements**


Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience


Basic Management Experience - 2 years
