As a Global Account Manager on the AWS team for Cisco, youll play a critical role in the sales process, working along-side some of the most innovative & passionate sales team members, while leveraging an extensive portfolio of technology products and services. Youll help advance our customers successful business outcomes, by leveraging technology solutions, next-gen architectures and thought leadership. A history of selling successfully within Web scale customers is a significant plus for this role.

You will be responsible for maintaining close customer relationships across architecture, engineering and operations groups within AWS.You will need to be creative to develop compelling value propositions for our customer. You will need to drive deal/demand creation, qualification, negotiationsand close deals which ultimately drive revenue for Cisco.You will be held responsible for forecast accuracy and pipeline development for weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts.


Youll work on an exciting and hungry team, with tons of energy who are committed to each others success. You will work with one of the most influential Web Scale customers in the market on the most influential projects in the web space. You have in-depth knowledge of the selling process (i.e., strategic account planning, extended resource engagement, sales cycle, etc) as well as a focus on driving Cisco opportunities across complex customer environments.You have a history and experience selling to Web Scale Cloud providers.You are strategic with your account planning and have an understanding of the technical aspects of SP Routing, Datacenter, Automation, Hardware & Software Sales. You partner well with extended team members. and forge strong relationships with Business Unit leaders. You have a great understanding of the competitive landscape and how to position Ciscos unique value. You are interested in growing your business.

Skills Required:

7+ years of sales experience across complex Web Scale Cloud customers.

Track record of selling technical products and services with a focus on driving business outcomes for customers.

Ability to operate across a large account, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations skills, and short/mid/long term opportunity management.

Self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships and articulate product, services and business strategies.

You are able to demonstrate skills of negotiation with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.

Ability to lead a virtual team from the various lines of business within Cisco Systems including Inside Sales, Systems Engineering, Consultant Systems Engineering, Field and Product Marketing, Product Management and Business Unit

You possess strategic technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment

Great understanding of Ciscos products and services offered across the SP space.

Ability to win across a competitive landscape, while driving market share for Cisco.

Seeding new business opportunities and developing a roadmaps that fuel future opportunity.
