A typical branch office has one financial advisor who meets with clients face-to-face and one branch office administrator who enhances the team's ability to build deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St. Louis and Tempe provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. Edward Jones currently has more branch offices than any other financial services firm, and we continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.
This role has responsibility for developing the strategy for our Performance Management system needed to drive branch team behaviors that align with delivery of our future vision of the Edward Jones Client Experience. This role is part of our Branch Team Performance and Motivation area.
*Key Responsibilities:*

* Develop strategy for Performance Management system that integrates the various components (compensation, incentives, rewards, recognition, motivation, comprehensive support plan, and culture) and how they come together to drive branch team behaviors
* Oversee and manage performance management processes for all Financial Advisors
* Responsible for leading our Performance Improvement Plan process, partnering with key stakeholders across the firm, maintaining a consistent approach enabling our financial advisors to grow, serve and lead clients
* Coordinate across the firm to execute our asset gathering, performance, and retention objectives

*Measures of Success (KPIs):*

* Alignment of performance and motivation levers to drive the right behavior and deliver the right results bringing together system of performance, motivation, incentives, recognition to align behaviors and deliver the right results
* Performance management components operating as a system
* Change management around behavior needed to drive performance
* % of retention against objective
* % performance against objective
* Increase in new assets, % against objective
* Clients deeply served, measure towards CEI objective

*Minimum Qualification:*
*Education:* Bachelors degree required. Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred in HR Management, Behavioral Science, or applicable field
*Certificates / Licensing:* Series 7 and 66
*Minimum years of experience required:* Minimum 10 years of related experience, 3-5 of which must be in a leading performance management system in a distributed sales model
*Depth of knowledge of principles and practices of a specific field of specialization such as finance, human resources, IS, marketing:*

* Strong knowledge of the firm and its business practices and processes
* Strong knowledge of change leadership, systems thinking, and integration
* Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to influence directly and indirectly
* Subject matter expertise in Performance Management systems; science behind all factors and how they integrate to driving performance in a distributed business model
