Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking an exceptional candidate to join as Head of the Central Information team. Reporting to the Head of Client Service Support ("CSS"), you will join a highly integrated and visible team responsible for oversight and maintenance of the firm's Account Master which is the central repository for all client account information. This is an important and dynamic role, where the candidate will be charged with providing business, compliance and financial management reporting for business areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to translate large data sets into formats tailored to meet specific business unit's requirements. Strong analytical and communication skills are required as is the ability to successfully collaborate with multiple levels of personnel across asset management.

The position is located in New York, NY.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage and maintain the Asset Managers central Account Master data repository of account and client information across the organization. Work with the CSS team to ensure information is delivered promptly and is accurate. Responsible for data integrity, proper controls and security.
  • Work closely with the Head of CSS on design and customized technological systems and platforms to improve investor experience.
  • Supervise the development and advancement of our information infrastructure and maintain systems data including Salesforce.
  • Prepare and deliver reports related to Assets under Management (AUM), client data, client and fund flows and other areas of management reporting.
  • Support executives, due diligence, marketing and distribution efforts across Guggenheim Investments by providing timely and accurate information and acting as a point of contact for questions and issues.
  • Collaborate with IT to write technical specifications for databases, reports and user interfaces and tools.
  • Actively involved in Agile technology project lifecycle, servicing as subject matter expert for primary account and client data repository.
  • Utilize tools including pivot tables, Power Pivot and Power BI to bridge data from different sources
  • Collaborate with Head of CSS and management personnel to identify and standardize data and information.
  • Participate in the development, testing and implementation of technical and database solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are developed in a scalable manner and identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and accuracy of information.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with more than 7 years of work experience in investment management or financial services environment.
  • High to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Access or SQL experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills including a demonstrated ability to analyze and manage large sets of interconnected data and information.
  • Experience with large data sets, database relationships and ETLs (extract, transform, load).
  • Keen attention to detail resulting in the production of consistent and quality work products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced time management skills resulting in the effective delivery of information for ad-hoc requests while continuing to perform day-to-day operational responsibility at the highest level.
  • Self-starter with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
