Auto req ID: 270199BR Job Description The EHS Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the management, development, and facilitation of Quaker - Danvilles EHS Programs. Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: Manage site-wide systems to identify and evaluate hazards (risks), and implement effective controls/corrective solutions consistent with PepsiCo risk management process Manage the development and maintenance of accurate, up-to-date, and complete records for EHS-related activities and injury/illness data Facilitate capital project EHS reviews to identify potential risks and assure control measures are adequately planned for and executed Lead and facilitate root cause analyses of EHS incidents to identify the cause and corrective measures; assign to business unit partners, as needed Provide technical expertise to the facility business units and program element leaders for PepsiCo EHS program elements. Implement PepsiCo EHS programs assuring the development of prioritized action plans with timetables for execution and plant-specific procedures and methods Perform facility safety inspections and assign follow-ups on identified hazards and compliance gaps Implement accountability and progressive discipline for observed and/or reported EHS policy violations Plan, coordinate, and schedule authorized/competency trainings and program element team meetings, including PE team Overtime assignment. Execute EHS reward systems for employees Perform gap analyses on EHS programs to identify compliance and/or conformance gaps and directing/coaching program element leaders or the front line in effective gap closure Handle EHS related grievances Coordinate case management and return-to-work programs with plant nurse; direct transitional duty assignments to the business unit Ensure that required regulatory permits are acquired, that reports are submitted to regulatory agencies and that permit conditions (e.g. sampling, recordkeeping) are being met. Own EHS training and education programs, including orientation for new employees, program element leaders, business unit management, etc. Lead response to regulatory compliance activities, including on-site inspections, written complaints, notices of violation, etc. Manage the facilitys material safety data management program, including new chemical approvals. Develop annual EHS goals, plans (EHS capital expenditures and activities) and cost control measures. Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
