As the Healthcare Economics Consultant, you will perform critical research and investigation of key business problems. Using phenomenal analytical skills, you will develop and improve quantitative data analytics and set performance targets for the enterprise. As a subject matter expert, you will interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation. You will be involved in identifying potential areas for Medicare Risk Adjustment improvements and improved member condition capture.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • ""
  • 1+ year(s) of professional experience in analytics and working with large data sets, preferably working with healthcare data
  • ""
  • Experience communicating analyses, including trends, opportunities, and recommended actions, to clients and the business in writing and verbally
  • ""
  • Experience with problem-solving, including balancing multiple priorities and researching conflicting and/or inaccurate data
  • ""
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with SQL query writing
  • ""
  • Advanced proficiency level with MS Excel, especially with complex formulas and pivot tables
  • ""
  • Comfortable presenting to various audiences and levels of leadership
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive VoiceResponse (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe.
