Primary Responsibilities:
  • Candidate will be expected to perform as an intermediate experience level SAS developer on the team and learn foundational setup for extracting, transacting, and loading data across M&R, E&I, and C&S lines of business to support consultants, business operation leaders, regional directors, vice presidents, and chief medical officers
  • Gain strong knowledge of claims, provider, member, and medical management data across Employee & Individual, Medicare & Retirement, and Community & State lines of business
  • Maintain expertise of programming knowledge and SQL software technologies, and broad knowledge of systems
  • Provide insight to technical designs. Works across the organization to provide business process or design recommendations
  • Develops enterprise level applications and custom integration solutions for data & reporting
  • Provide technical expertise to project teams, working closely with business analysts in clarifying business needs and requirements, to enable design, development, integration, and production of data & reporting solutions across the organization
  • Support various complex reporting and analytics requests from various leaders and regional consultants
  • Needs to be able to act as SME Lead Developer regarding some newly initiated leadership requests
  • Needs to be able to act as PM or QA Analyst on some high profile projects when not acting as lead to assist other regional analysts
  • Must be SME concerning extracting data from Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid data warehouses/databases/table schemas
  • Build new analytical tools to further enhance and drive ACO transformation and conversations with leadership and consultants to create additional team value
  • Perform at high level regarding SAS(EG and VDI) development expertise and serve as go-to team SAS liaison in regards to PROC SQL, DATA STEP, MACRO, and/or other technical coding inquiries
  • Act as backup to fulfill any request flowing through intake for any region to expedite workflow and maintain/decrease time to customer delivery
  • Will need to show examples of building strong relationships in previous roles and demonstrate the ability and desire to build new relationships with internal and external team members to drive the success of ACO projects and meet or exceed annual affordability target across all lines of business
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Graphs, Advanced Formula Knowledge)
