**What You Will Achieve**

Working with Pfizer's dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the construction of new production facilities, development and implementation of new process and utility equipment, serving as a liaison between project teams and management stakeholders.

This role is accountable for effective management and delivery of multiple major capital projects in Pfizer Melbourne's High Potent Building (Building 5). As a manager, you will be responsible for multiple project budgets with a total in excess of 60M AUD, and the execution of complex and interlinked projects on varying schedules by several project teams. You will be responsible for developing the Building's Master Plan, including engaging, gathering inputs and sharing outcomes with a range diverse stakeholders and will establish program goals and milestones in alignment with the organisation's overall business strategy. You will implement Pfizer's Capital Project Management Processes and be responsible for all related program controls and reporting including scope, cost and schedule adherence as well as act as a liaison with all governance forums, stakeholders, core and extended project teams.

**How You Will Achieve It**

+ Provide leadership and management of Pfizer Project Managers, Pfizer Project Engineers, cross functional team members and contractors in alignment with the Building's capital project plans. Recognise and develop colleagues, promote Pfizer values and proactively manage issues, such as performance, directly with colleagues, contract organisation, procurement and engage with Pfizer HR and Management as required.

+ Accountable for the management, reporting and overall delivery (time, budget, scope) of the Building's capital program in line with the Site Master Plan

+ Ensure all project activities are carried out in compliance with corporate policies and Pfizer's Capital Project Management Processes.

+ Define clear and realistic goals and strategies. Participate in project meetings. Identify and delegate action items. Identify and resolve project issues (if required escalate). Facilitate rapid decision making, resolve internal project matters, remove barriers to ensure project progress. Roll up individual project progress, opportunities and risks to provide a program view.

+ Responsible for developing and maintaining project budgets, timelines and updates. Support roll up of the Site Capital Program by reviewing and providing program inputs into the monthly cycle (project monthly stakeholder updates, cashflow forecast, timelines and resources).

+ Lead the development and oversight of the Building's Technical Master Plan and associated business strategy. Develop Capital

+ Project Appropriations (CPAs), socialise with signatories, seek and respond to feedback.

+ Act as a liaison with all governance forums, stakeholders, core and extended project team. Represent the Building 5 projects in governance meetings and senior management meetings.



+ 8+ years project management experience. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Pharmaceutical environment or sterile injectable is preferred

+ Minimum Bachelor's degree in a field that is related to Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing.

+ Formal Project Management training or certification (Preferred)

+ The ability to demonstrate effective communication, delegation & leadership

+ Experience managing multiple projects, project teams and stakeholders

+ Financial management competency

+ Competency in planning techniques including use of MS Project

+ A good understanding of Quality Management Systems, cGMP principles and requirements.
