Be a part of an innovative team integrating behavioral health with housing stability as a Housing Support Specialist on the Vail Place Housing Team. Aid in locating and sustaining suitable housing to qualifying individuals in a variety of community settings. With stable housing being a priority for all, you will truly make a lasting impact in the lives of those that you support!

What Does a Housing Support Specialist do?

Housing Support Specialists establish trusting relationships with individuals in order to support efforts in accessing resources and achieving goals. These efforts include identifying housing needs and barriers, navigating rental market vacancies, providing housing education/coaching, and coordinating services with other providers. Housing Support Specialists work alongside individuals on their person-centered housing goals and help throughout the housing search process.

Who Are You? Minimum Qualifications for Housing Support Specialist

BA or BS in human services or related area, or BSW with valid and current Social Work licensure.

One (1) years' experience in housing. Mental health experience is a plus.

Must have and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver's License, maintain automobile coverage and have access to an automobile.

Currently most work can be done through telecommuting, but please note that any interactions require direct facetoface contact will involve the use of social distancing and personal protective measures. Salary and Benefits

$42,000-$47,000 Depending on Qualifications. Full Benefits Package including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, long term disability, matched 401k, generous paid time off including 11 recognized holidays.
