HR Information Technology Specialist Workday Interfaces

Working hours: EMEA with flexibility

Location: Katowice, Poland OR Brno, Czech Republic

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

This IT Specialist for International HR will operate on a
multiyear, global large-scale project to implement Workday as AT&Ts new
solution for a HR Application. The core goal is to ensure that the variety of
interfaces and customized process automations from our current PeopleSoft HR
Application are transitioned appropriately, either as-is or with
improvements, for a seamless client experience upon Go live.

The role will operate in a matrix organisation, being a member of the
International HR Systems Team collaborating with the equivalent US Domestic

The IHR Systems team have developed and implemented over 100
tools and applications to help deliver automation to our 50+ countryspecific HR needs. The
teams tools range from small scale spreadsheet macro solutions up to web-based
applications and websites with over 1 million hits a year. A core goal is to allow
current and future tools to interface intelligently with the new core HR
data base system (Workday).

+ Review interfaceneeds for existing tools for the WD team (define requirements by liaising with any HR client).

+ Support interfaces set up and testing (scrumteam participation, test the interfaces and ensure to deliver on the underlyingclient need)

+ Challenge, review & prioritize the status quo interface solutions (realAPI-type interface or report only) for a better future solution

+ Assist in reviewing current customized automations that may need to be adjusteddueto transitioning to a global, standard Workday solution

+ Program andtest selected applications from our own IHR team to achieve our goals

+ Translate HR client needs into technical terms for the interface team

+ Develop and maintain a good understanding of our IHRapplications, the related US HR systems and the flow through a large enterprisesystem environment (via middleware systems)

+ Help to solve process flow issues

+ Develop an excellent network (domestic and international) workingwith different levels and functions

**Required Skills and Experiences:**

+ Programming skills to develop small, easy-to-use webapplications (PHP/Laravel, MySQL, or similar)

+ 5- 10 years working experience in either HR teams or Programmerrole

+ Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel, Access, Outlook)

+ Experience with any large scale data base system (ideally HRPeoplesoft, Workday, SAP or other)

+ Bachelors in information technology/ computer sciences orcomparable educational background

+ Fluent in English - both spoken, and business written

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Highly analytic, pragmatic, solution oriented

+ Stress resistant, able to work with strict deadlines

+ Self-sufficient, independent, pro-active: limited supervisionas remotely managed
