ATIP (Advanced Technology Integration Program) is Task Order under the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Helios IDIQ contract awarded to AT&T. AT&Ts ATIP contract provides a team of IT specialists that operate the DIA headquarters ATIP system that serves as the collection point for multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs) developed under Helios. These systems deliver their digital information payloads from across the globe and outer-space to the ATIP platform for processing, integration, correlation and access by Defense Department analysts and decision-makers. The ATIP system is operated by AT&T specialists and selected AT&T Helios Teammates cleared to support the multitude highly sensitive programs.
AT&T has an opening for an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) for the ATIP systems program. This position will be providing managed IT support of SAP-IT systems for high-priority defense intelligence collection needs
**The job duties are as follows:**
+ Information Systems Security Engineer provides technical support to ensure the ATIP systems are designed to meet DIA C&A and IA requirements and are properly certified and accredited.
+ Responsibilities are full time on customers onsite and will cover classified programs and Special Access Programs (SAP). No Telework.
+ Designs, develops, and recommends integrated security system and physical control solutions that will ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.
+ Assists ATIP Information Assurance (IA) team in DIAs Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process using the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) across the design lifecycle for classified systems obtaining and maintaining Interim Authority to Operate (ATO), ATO and Authority to Connect (ATC).
+ Provides technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions to manage information-related risks.
+ Participates with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs.
+ Configures and validates secure systems and physical controls, and tests security products and systems to detect security weakness.
+ Creates and process RMF authorization SAP packages from submission to approval/disapproval
+ Maintains XACTA records for supported systems.
+ Must demonstrate strong teamwork, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.
+ Must demonstrate strong initiative to accept new technical challenges in complex system engineering assignments. Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts as required by the supported program.
+ Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic, small team environment.
**Required Clearance:**
TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)
**Required Qualifications:**
+ A Bachelors Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position and six (6) years of relevant experience. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelors degree
+ Security credentials, certifications, and experience commensurate with the job description
+ Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
+ Must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by date of security indoctrination with any necessary Computing Environment (CE) for certification.

Our Information Systems Security Engineers earn between $98,100 & $196,000 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
