The Sr. Project Manager is a critical leader for Stone Mountain, GA and the PepsiCo Beverage North American (PBNA) organization. This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of facility expansion and project management for a large capital investment. This role is responsible for ensuring all internal and external resources are aligned against the priorities of the business including Safety, Quality, Production Efficiency, Cost and Customer Service. This role is also responsible for the development of training and building individual capability partnering with the site leaders. Major Action and Support Actions: Lead location project management activities for the approved expansion of manufacturing and warehousing operations. Coordinator with key stake holders during project activities to maintain current operations during expansion project. This position will lead Early Management(EM) activities for the SD. As EM leader this position will be responsible for project development through CAR phase to ensure that projects are properly vetted and funded. This position will lead change management activities and communications for project activities before, during and after expansion completion. Reporting to the Location Director, this position will be working with a wide variety of Divisional leadership, plant leadership, plant associates, outside vendors and contractors to drive improvement in Safety, Quality, Production Efficiency, Costs and Loss Reduction. This position will assist the plant leadership in expanding the implementation of Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) principles and Lean-Six Sigma capability tools. This position will lead Line Balancing Optimization (LBO) activities. As LBO leader this position will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stake holders to gain alignment with LBO process and ensure results Drive True Efficiency across location. Partner with sites to drive output and unlock capacity in place. This position will partner to ensure AOP plans and targets are met. Provide training and support throughout location. Partner with location leaders to develop and implement a training and onboarding plan for technical development and new employees. Coordinate with other functional areas to ensure the accomplishment of overall PBNA and plant objectives as needed Understand and apply financial drivers and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location. Qualifications/Requirements Thorough knowledge of processing and packing equipment to effectively lead technical resources to successfully maintain production line equipment to achieve high levels of productivity. Your working knowledge of TPM principles within at least one of the following TPM Pillars: Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement or Early Management. Additionally, we'll value your experience in leading or managing the TPM implementation a manufacturing location. Strong financial control skills to support plant efforts in successful cost and capital planning performance. Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop personnel and strategically plan for continuous improvement. Your ability to communicate effectively and to influence at all levels of the organization (from operators to Vice President level) Technical understanding of food / beverage manufacturing processes and compliance requirements preferred Ability to travel and ability to work off shifts occasionally Must have a valid drivers license Safe driving record strongly preferred Degree: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferred) Indefinite ability to work in the United States We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
