As part of the business development training program, youll take the lead in this position for 10 to 24 months of sales development and growth. Youll be responsible for selling designated mobility products and services to new customers within a defined industry channel, providing support to assigned territories and accounts under the guidance of a seasoned sales professional with a vested interest in your achievements. After successfully graduating from the business development training program, youll be placed in an outside sales position within Global Business, Public Sector or Wholesale, in one of our growing markets around the U.S.

What you'll do:

Make outbound virtual sales calls to selected customers, selling an assigned portfolio of products, services, and supplies to selected customers via telephone, telepresence, or other virtual tools.

Have account responsibility with defined, targeted sales quota and goals.

Find opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell to each account.

Provide support to field sales teams with their assigned accounts, as needed.

Act as an independent seller with ownership of a geographic territory or named account list, as needed.

Prepare sales documentation, activity reports, forecasts, and strategic sales plans, as required.

Implement sales plans and actions that bolster account relationships and sales opportunities.

Successful candidates will have:

A desire to launch a career in sales with the opportunity to grow your income and career potential.

Experience working in a team environment where revenue growth and account management are a top priority.

Knowledge of AT&T mobility products and services.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and build productive relationships with customers and internal colleagues.

Ability to create and edit professional Microsoft Office documents for use with clients, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired, but not required, qualifications include a bachelors degree, completion of the basic training portion of the B2B Sales Program, 0-2 years of outside or retail sales experience, or cold-calling experience.

This role is a temporary assignment for up to 24 months. When you are deemed releasable from the role, you will need to accept a permanent field position within a reasonable period. If you have not secured another position, you will be subject to job reassignment, which may require relocation.

This role will require reporting to the Dallas office 3 to 5 times per week.
