Functional Description:

PepsiCos Insights MBA internship program is a 10-week summer program between June and August held. A summer internship in Insights at PepsiCo is an opportunity to independently solve a critical business problem. Each intern is presented with a timely question for their team and challenged to both think strategically and engage cross-functional partners to provide a provocative and comprehensive recommendation during their final presentation. This structure mirrors the project-based work process of full-time employees. Although this process lends itself to great autonomy in setting agenda, workflow and output, interns have full support, guidance and feedback from their managers and the broader Insights organization. As a class, PepsiCo interns are availed of best-in-class exposure to senior leadership, educated on the global PepsiCo organization, and given opportunities to build relationship with fellow interns across both functions and US PepsiCo headquarters (New York, Dallas and Chicago).

What you can expect:

  • Contribute to the design and execution of shopper research to influence shopper behavior and partner with cross-functional teams to enable targeted demand activation and Omni-channel store design
  • Translate data and insight into compelling narratives to drive insight-led recommendations and solutions to the business and customer teams
  • Identify, build, deploy differentiated insights methods that can provide PepsiCo a unique future-forward understanding of shopper behavior
  • Integrate new learnings with the most current internal and external understanding of the Shoppers Omni-channel behavior, engagement, and decision-making
  • Democratize those integrated insights with key stakeholders across PepsiCo

CRITICAL WIRING
  • Collaborates across PepsiCo including critical wiring with PepsiCo Commercial and BU Teams
  • Facilitates partnerships across key stakeholder bodies beyond the DX including Enterprise and Strategic Customers and PepsiCo Business Unit Marketing teams

Collaborating to Drive Commercial Impact
  • A decision change agent, with a deep understanding of how to turn insights into action and impact the commercial agenda and influence others in a matrixed environment
  • A team player, who thrives on working collaboratively, inspiring others and bringing out the best in others
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environment and establish new path and processes

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Qualifications - Each candidate is expected to:

  • Graduate with MBA degree within one (1) year of internship completion.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Include GPA (unless your school has a non-disclosure policy,) GMAT scores, and first location preference on your submitted resume
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Work Experience:
  • Prior Research experience preferred
  • CPG, FMCG, Retailer experience a plus
