Inventory Control Specialist 1 (PGCS)

PBNA $22.70 per hour $22.70 per hour For the NA Distribution Centers, lead all activities related to inventory reconciliation of materials, batches, quantities & statuses, etc. between JDA WMS & SAP and work with local management, coordinators, team leads and associates to investigate and resolve inventory differences between both systems. Ensure efficient controls are in place (SOX Compliant) and working reflect accurate inventory at the 4 NADC's (including Canada) as well as all external warehouses i.e., Allen & Saddle Creek. Ensure accurate receiving and accounting of concentrate and warehousing processes throughout the entire supply chain, support the coordinator staff well as work with front-line personnel and enable continuous improvement. Accountabilities: 1) Business Plan Development and Execution * Manages activities related to the developing controls process for inventory management. * Reconciliation of interface i.e., organizing data to analyze and identify variances and drivers. * Work closely with coordinator staff and Team Leads to troubleshoot and/or research transactions within WMS or SAP driving inventory discrepancies between the two systems. * Responsible for managing inventory reconciliation and controls for all outside storage warehouses. * Manage communication of status as well as metrics related to accuracy and/or period end activities. * Responsible for reporting, documenting controls to maintain predefined thresholds. * Potential Control Owner backfill for SOX. * Managing cycle counts process for the NADCs to be in compliance with SOX controls. * Managing pick face analysis report to ensure the pick faces are utilized efficiently. * Provide the NADC leadership team will the items incorrect location report so inventory is proper locations for picking efficiency. * Occasional travel to other DC locations (Lithia Springs, Carlisle, PA) 2) Develop Operating Capability * Enables NADC teams to maintain accurate inventory on hand for purposes of planning & execution. * Works with finance / business partners / front line to identify inventory accuracy gaps and develop action plans. * Assures accurate inventory and statuses represented for planning, shipping and customer service according to needs. * Provides guidance and train pertaining personnel regarding proper transactional integrity of inventory. 3) Process Capability * Identify recurring problems for process improvement. Basic Requirements Requirements: Skills & Type of Experience Required * Two plus (2+) years' warehousing experience.
