Your Role and Responsibilities

Scope of duties:
  • managing sets of middlewares (IBM WebSphere, Lotus Domino, mySQL databases, monitoring tools) (installing, configuring, patching, healthchecking, troubleshooting)
  • managing Linux systems according to IBM security standards (mainly Linux Red Hat)
  • supporting application teams in systems troubleshooting
  • analyzing systems performance and response times
  • tuning systems to achieve the highest possible performance
  • cooperating with security/compliance teams to keep managed systems in line with internal security standards

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • min 3 years of experience in Linux systems managing (Red Hat preferable),
  • knowledge of middlewares and applications servers (IBM WebSphere Network Deployment, Liberty),
  • system automation knowledge (ansible,salt,puppet,chef),
  • system tuning and troubleshooting knowledge,
  • containerisation knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes).


Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • min 3 years of experience in Linux systems managing (Red Hat preferable),
