Job Description:

The Junior Accountant conducts day to day general ledger accounting tasks including, data entry, reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and assists the departments with special projects as assigned.

Essential Functions:
Participates in the preparation of posting of journal entries.
Participates in the preparation of monthly balance sheets.
Participates in account reconciliation activities.
Researches assigned open items.
Assists with month end close.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in order to apply a working knowledge of the theories and principles in a specialized field or work discipline.
Requires no prior related work experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, preferred.
0 to 2 years Accounting experience, preferred.
Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel skills
Strong Communication Skills
High Attention to detail and analytical ability
